Shane and I had our 7th wedding anniversary on the 22nd of August. I know, I am slow to posting about it. I can't believe it's been seven years. We've been through a LOT in those years but I'm glad we've stuck through it all. I don't want to be too mushy but I love him a lot and am grateful for all he does for our family. We weren't going to do anything for the special day because we're poor folk but some fantastic friends of ours made sure we had a great day. I have been craving cheese this entire pregnancy. I want it and need it all the time! When our friends asked if we wanted to do a fondue party that would include cheese, I of course jumped at the chance! We had a three course meal complete with a cheese round, (YUM) main course and last but not least, dessert! There was every type of food imaginable. Shrimp, steak, scallops, chicken, bread, fruits, veggies, treats of all sorts, Italian soda's...the list could go on for miles. Mary is a serious chef and will be so mad when she's sees I've posted about her. She's far too humble about her cooking skills but seriously, she's amazing! Her and Isaac both are fabulous and way too good to us. Here are some pic's of the fun event at the Ashton's house.
Us on the big day

Yellowstone fun
We went to Yellowstone a few weeks ago with some of Shane's family. It was nice to get out of the house and do something fun together. We don't get to do family things too often. It was fun to spend time with his sister Kristy from Michigan and her family and his parents. I also know where every bathroom from here to Yellowstone is so if anyone ever needs a map drawn, I'm your girl!
Not the most flattering picture of me but...it's a memory

More fun in the water
Makoy and his cousins from Michigan. He totally ADORES them despite the thumbs down he's giving

Joining the bloggers!
After a long time of debating I've decided to do a blog. I haven't done one in the past due to lack of time and the fact I don't think anyone would find what I do very interesting! The fact that I'm not a scrapbooker in the least and I don't keep a journal are some of the reasons I've decided to do this. It will be great to be able to print this all off and remember family memories.
