Seven months

Sweet little "Channers" turned seven months old on the tenth. I know I say it every time, but really, where did the time go? It's so fun to see her grow and all the things she is learning. At the same time, it's making me a little sad. Maybe because she's the last and I'm trying to savor every second. Anyway, she is starting to scoot around the house and pull herself up. By the time Makoy was four months he crawled all over and he walked at nine months. It's hard to have such an early learning baby first because now I feel like she's behind. I can't compare the two though, and she is moving right along with learning things. She is so sweet and loves to give snuggles and kisses. We love her to pieces!

I was in another room for 30 seconds and came back to this. She was quite proud she had managed to scoot to my purse and dump it out.

Pulling herself up and oh so proud. Please ignore my puke stained couches. :)
She figured out a new way to sit and thinks she's pretty awesome!

Shane's sister, Kristy was here from Michigan. It was great to see her and she hadn't met Channing yet.
Love this!

She loves our walks
Her first swimsuit. I think she likes it.

I love this pic, minus the glaring sun.
She loves to smile...

And give the occasional crusty face
I finally found a game they can both play and she LOVED it. Both were too busy to look at me.

She went to town and destroyed all of her bumpers. They were all soaking in slobber and torn down. Her face says it all! Not sure why she was so angry :)
And of course, crazy hair pictures. This hair was out of control and would not stay down.

For anyone wondering why I don't put her hair up...need I say more? Ridiculous! It can't be tamed

And more crazy hair...
And more

But sometimes it is tame

Pretty girl

She was fascinated by Beck's baby, Maylee. She looks ginormous!
She was a little forceful about them being friends

Makoy, our big boy

It is a rare day that I have enough pictures of Makoy to do an entire post! For some reason he's been letting me snap the occasional picture here and there. I am going to take advantage of it! He is growing like a weed, and I'm having a hard time with it. He graduated from preschool on the 19th of May. He will be off to kindergarten in the fall. WHAT?! I am going to sob that day. He also is training wheel free. I couldn't help him try last year with my big belly. We were taking a walk one cold day last month and he said he wanted to try it. His first attempt he rode down to the end of the street. That was that and the training wheels came off. There are moments I look at him and can not believe how big he is. He is HILARIOUS and keeps me on my toes. A while ago he said "Mom, have you or Dad ever hit rock bottom?" Say what?? He still asks me and I asked him if he knew what he was asking. "Yes mom, have you guys ever had a really hard time with something?" Not sure why he wants to know or how he knows how to use that saying correctly, but it cracked me up. He also is quite the ladies man. I was outside listening to him chat with some neighbor girls a few weeks ago. He said "check out what I can do, ladies" and then proceeded to do a wheelie on his bike. Then they oohed and awwed and he was beaming and kept doing it. Oh boy! He is so smart and loves to learn. We checked out 30 books from the library a few weeks ago and had them all read in a week. He LOVES to be read to and can read a few words himself. He says he is ready for kindergarten and not scared. I wish I felt the same! He is playing tee ball this summer and having a blast. He loves all sports, loves to dance, help cook and play in the dirt and mud. Most of all though, he LOVES his sister, and she loves him. He is the best big brother. I love this boy so much!

Day of graduation

You can see my attempt to get a picture at graduation went well

This is the best I could get with his teachers, Mistie and Holly

Besties

His favorite thing lately is to build a "fort" in a laundry basket
He has discovered that Channing's crib is comfy

Fake sleeping...with gardening gloves on. He wears those things constantly.
