Pictures

My friend Katy was kind enough to take some family pictures of us and some pregnancy pictures of me. She wanted to get some more practice but I was hesitant at first since I am NOT photogenic, but I'm glad we did it! I'm glad she convinced me she could make us all look good, and she did just that! She did a great job and I really appreciate her doing these. Check out her photography blog and you'll see some of our pictures and her other work. http://photography-kp.blogspot.com/

Is it really a girl?

I swore I would not make pictures of my belly public but since I blog for journal reasons, I'm going to. Don't worry, they are totally decent pics! I just don't like pictures of me in general. Luckily I don't have too many followers yet for me to be completely embarrassed by doing this. I have always felt guilty that I didn't get more pictures of my pregnancy with Makoy or write down things about my pregnancy. I really wanted to change that this time around, especially since she may be our last. I'm also putting a cute video of her on here. A week before my baby shower (which will be posted on the next post!) I had a dream that she was a boy. It was so real and I was just convinced she was a he. I just knew it! So I went into Rosemark, which is not where my doctor is, because I had heard you could get a gender ultrasound for 20 dollars whether you're a patient or not. It's true! The ultrasound tech said she is DEFINITELY a girl and after seeing her this time, I could tell for sure too! We were also able to capture a cute pouty face she was making just as the video started. The video takes a minute to start for those of you who haven't seen it yet. Pregnancy is so fascinating! I'm not sure what she was so sad about but it sure is adorable. We love her so much already. Makoy asks just about daily when she is going to be here. Don't I wish I knew!

Baby Shower Extravaganza!

I had my baby shower on the 18th of September and have not had a chance to post about it yet. I have to thank my beautiful sister Jen for hosting this and putting it together. I know she had to do a lot of work to make it all happen and I really appreciate it. Thanks to all my sisters for the help with this and making it a complete success! I know they all played a part and it wouldn't have been as great with out them. The food was great, decorations adorable and I had a great turn out. I was able to get just about everything I need. Thank you to everyone who came and all the great gifts.
