Six months and a load of other hoopla

Wow, I really need to post more than every six weeks or whatever it's been. Now that Shane is done with school, I'm hoping I'll have some more time to post. I've also had a fussy baby with an ear infection, a little boy with some crazy illness that we finally figured out, and just lots of stuff going on. Channing turned six months old on the tenth. That's half a year folks! What?! I seriously cannot believe how fast this is going by. She is so much fun. She loves to play peek-a-boo, play with toys, but most of all, she loves mommy! She's become even more of a mommy's girl. If I leave the room, big tears. If I'm in the room and not holding her, it doesn't happen. She won't even let Shane hold her, feed her, rock her...she wants me. I am pretty awesome so who can blame her? Just kidding! She's a sweetie though and we are loving every second of her! Having one of each is so much fun. They are a blast! She is 15 lbs 10 oz (I know, she looks like she weighs 20) and 24 3/4 inches tall. She's a short little chub and oh so cute! Here are some random pics of the last six weeks. Easter, firsts, and other randomness. I will be posting again soon since a lot more fun things have been going on! I'm sure the two of you that read this are on the edge of your seats. HA!

Easter

Firsts-
Waiting for her first taste of cereal

First taste of veggies
Not a fan

First feel of grass. A little dramatic
First road trip. "Road trip, say what?"
I threatened Makoy for a picture, like I have to do for any with him. We went to a funeral in Driggs for Shane's Great Uncle. Channing's face is hilarious. She looks terrified.

Faces

Six month b-day. She was doing a cheer to celebrate :)

Big girl

This is why he constantly falls off the bed. Crazy sleeper
Fun fifth's disease that hit our house. High fever, a little puking, cough and this nasty rash. It was all over him.

I love this. Only my dad could get her to sleep this day. So sweet
And as always, crazy hair. You know when you had barbies and their hair was matted? Ya....

She loves her passi. She was talking to it here. It's her favorite thing to play with. I also decided to put leg warmers on her when I was getting her dressed just for fun. Ya, she's too chubby. They left welts.

For sake of the memory, I will post this. I look grotesque, ugh. Shane's Great Aunt Ruth was here from Canada. She is the sweetest thing! We love her.
The last time she was here, Makoy was Channing's age. Don't mind Channing, apparently the flash was bright! It's the only picture we were able to get though.

Grandma Payne's Birthday bash. She is so sweet

  1. Channing makes hilarious faces! Just love her. Her little painted toes are the cutest thing ever. And you do NOT look grotesque in that picture! I love that outfit. I'm glad you'll be updating more! (Since I'm one of your two readers. HA! Totally kidding.) =)

  2. Poor Koy! I hope he's all better now. That does not look fun. I don't know about you, but I'm pretty tired of sicknesses. Once everyone is healthy we really need to hang out! And cute pictures, as usual! Miss you!
